The Mr Vampire Series

I just watched Mr Vampire 2 the other day and I think that this would have to be my favourite out of the series. I know a lot of people will push for the original due to the 'coolness' and 'originality' it brought to HK cinema and cinema in general.

...but the sequel is what really does it for me. This was the first of the Mr Vampire series that I watched -- buying the dvd because Yuen Biao is featured in it -- but it really has the goods. The humour is still fresh, the setting is modern ...

Most board-goers will know that I'm not that happy with Ip Man: Donnie Yen's latest offering, courtesy of his now usual director, Wilson Yip, and choreography by Sammo Hung.

One of the major shortfalls of the film was the choreography itself, which is shocking (I know!) considering that Sammo is a fine director and an even better choreographer. Given that he's choreographed and directed two other Wing Chun movies, Warriors Two and The Prodigal Son I decided to try watch both to try and ...

The East is Red

Is any of you have this movie at home? I have a problem. I watched it yesterday and to be honest I am puzzled.

The Database includes Lam Ching Ying and Wu Ma as uncredited actors in that movie (as well as Yuen King Tan, who is REALLY having a role in this movie) but the other two actors', LCY and Wu Ma's scene is from the "original" Swordsman movie. In this case Sam Hui should be added as uncredited as well, cause that scene is completely copied into the opening scene of this movie.

I need a little help.

If any of you my friends have the Shadow Whip could you please do two things for me?

1. Make a good portrait of Sammo.

2. Check the guy I marked in the background. I think it is Lam but I am not sure at all this time. What is your opinion?

Thanks a lot.

I am thinking about this scene at 0.33.

This was never discussed before.

I like all the songs from mr vampire series.

My favourite theme song is from Mr Vampire 1992,the scene where Sandra Ng meets evil ghosts from two sides.Oone side is full of wedding ghosts the other ghost are funeral ghosts.I think this scene is very beautiful and director Ricky Lau did a great job.And the track here is very dark but soooo gooood!

The 2nd and the 3rd are the ending song from Mr Vampire 3 and Vampire vs Vampire.

Of course,there are lot ...

I might sound strange but I have no idea which movie this lady used at the end of her MV... She gave the details at the end but none of them seem to be the one or I missed something...

Can you help? The site needs this movie!

Besides this is a great video and I already approached her for some permission...

Oh, I had this picture in my collection for a while not knowing where it came from. Must be the same movie.
